UG and PG Application for University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad

Applications are invited by University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Dharwad for admission to various under graduate and post graduate programs for the commencing session 2012-13.

Eligibility Criteria for UAS Dharwad :

For UG Programs: A pass in 2-year PUC examination conducted by the Department of Pre-University Education, Govt. of Karnataka or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with any other science subject as combination or with inter-agriculture.

For PG Programs: The candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in the subject from a recognized university mentioned below for each subject group with CGPA/OGPA of not less than 2.25/4.00 or 6.00 / 10.00 or an equivalent CGPA/OGPA. For SC/ST/Cat-I candidates, mere pass is enough.

How to Apply for UAS Dharwad

Applications can be obtained from the State Bank of India, UAS Campus Branch, Dharwad, or the Deans of the College of Agriculture, Bijapur/Hanumanamatti; College of Forestry, Sirsi on payment of requisite fee in the form of DD drawn in favor of the Comptroller, UAS, Dharwad, from 28.05.2012.

The applications can also be downloaded from the university website and in such cases the candidates may send DD towards requisite application fee along with filled-in applications.

The application fees for bachelor’s degree program is Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST/Cat. I candidates) and for postgraduate degree program is Rs.600/- (Rs.300/- for SC/ST/Cat. I candidates).

The last date for receipt of filled-in applications with all necessary enclosures in the office of the Registrar, UAS, Dharwad, is 22.06.2012.
